1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using ScreenHalt: Focus & App Blocker, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScreenHalt provides digital wellbeing tools, including:

• Screen time monitoring
• App usage limits
• Scheduling controls

The App uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to enforce usage limits locally on your device.

3. Data & Privacy

ScreenHalt does not:

• Create user accounts
• Store personal data
• Maintain identifiable user records

All functionality operates locally on your device wherever possible.

Limited technical data may be processed to improve performance, including:

• App events (via Mixpanel)
• Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)

This data is not used to identify individual users.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the app lawfully
• Not attempt to bypass restrictions
• Not misuse system-level permissions

5. Permissions Usage

The app requires system-level permissions to function, including:

• Screen Time / usage access controls

These permissions are used solely to:

• Enforce app usage limits
• Enable core functionality

They are not used for personal data collection.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services, including:

• Mixpanel (analytics)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)

These services operate under their own terms and policies.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

The App offers subscription-based access to its features.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings

Free trials, if offered:

• Automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted operation
• Error-free performance
• Complete prevention of usage bypass

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenHalt LLC shall not be liable for:

• Indirect damages
• Loss of productivity
• Data loss related to device or system issues

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, including:

• App design
• Code
• Features

are owned by ScreenHalt LLC.

11. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Union:

• We process minimal technical data only
• We do not store personally identifiable information
• Users retain rights under applicable data protection laws

12. COPPA Compliance

ScreenHalt: Focus & App Blocker:

• Does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13
• Does not include targeted advertising
• Does not track user identity

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
