ScreenHalt LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the ScreenHalt: Focus & App Blocker mobile application ("App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how data is handled.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Personal Data

We do NOT collect or store directly identifiable personal information, including:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Contacts
• Messages or personal content

App usage data accessed through Apple's Screen Time APIs is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Device & Technical Data (Non-Personal)

We may collect limited, non-identifiable device data strictly for app functionality and performance:

• Device type and OS version
• App usage events (non-personal)
• Crash reports and diagnostics
• Performance metrics

We do not use this data to identify individual users.

2.3 Advertising Attribution & Analytics

We use:

AppsFlyer (attribution and conversion analytics)

AppsFlyer helps us understand which of our own advertising campaigns bring people to the App. It may receive:

• Device information (device model, OS version, IP address, and Apple-provided device identifiers)
• App events such as installs and app opens
• Purchase and subscription conversion events, including the purchase amount

AppsFlyer never receives:

• Your screen time or app usage activity
• Your name, email address, or other contact information

This data is used to measure our own marketing — not to build advertising profiles about you, and not to show you ads.

3. What We Do NOT Do

We explicitly confirm:

• ❌ No collection of directly identifiable personal data
• ❌ No transmission of your screen time or app activity off your device
• ❌ No third-party advertising shown in the App
• ❌ No advertising profiles built about you
• ❌ No linking of collected data to your real-world identity
• ❌ No selling of user data

For transparency: to measure our own ad campaigns, our attribution partner (AppsFlyer) receives install and purchase events with a device identifier, as described in Section 2.3. We honor your device-level privacy settings where applicable.

4. How We Use Data

We use collected technical data only to:

• Improve app performance
• Fix crashes and bugs
• Understand general feature usage
• Enhance user experience

5. Legal Basis (GDPR Compliance)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on:

• Legitimate Interest → Improving app performance and stability
• Consent (where required by applicable law) → For analytics tools

6. Data Retention

• We do not store user-specific personal data
• Technical logs (e.g., crash reports) are retained only as long as necessary for debugging
• Data is periodically deleted or anonymized automatically by third-party services

Since we do not store personal user data, there is:

• No user account data to delete
• No personal records retained by ScreenHalt LLC

ScreenHalt: Focus & App Blocker does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

• Apple's App Store and StoreKit (payments and subscription management, handled by Apple)

These providers operate under their own privacy policies and are compliant with industry standards.

• We ensure adequate safeguards via trusted service providers
